IB English: Tips for IB English Paper 2

In Paper 2, you’ll be asked to analyse a literary work such as a novel or poem. To do this successfully, We recommend reading the text several times before attempting to answer questions about it.

Read multiple times

Practicing at home is essential if you want to do well in IB English exams! Use resources like SparkNotes if necessary – they can save you precious time – but make sure that whatever material you use is reliable and up-to-date; old editions of books may contain outdated information which could lead to incorrect interpretations during your exam.

Finally, don't forget that practice makes perfect! Try writing out sample responses for past papers or even creating mock exams with friends - these are great ways of getting into good habits before taking on the real thing!
